DNA Test results--Hooray!

Please excuse me while I crow a bit. What a great day this is.  Broke through my family brick wall. I just got my autosomal DNA test results.  FOUND my half-brother.  He had his YDNA test results.  It turned out the haplogroup we are associated with goes way back to Erainn, or Ireland.  I am just examining the tip of the iceberg on this.  Can't believe it.  DNA is  the greatest thing ever.  :)

FOUND your half-brother?! Wow. Congratulations, Connie!
Thanks everyone for your kind comments.  I'm still pinching myself.

Congratulations! Genealogical breakthroughs feel great, but even better when DNA is involved. Somehow it makes it all feel more "real." I felt the same way when I found my half-first cousin via an auDNA test.

Congratulations Billie,  Such a great breakthrough for you to find your half sibling.  Always a testament to the results that can be found through the results of DNA.   Hopefully others will take the simple step of taking a test.

Enjoy your new family and all the exciting events that this find for you wil bring.   Cheers!

Congratulations!!! It's always nice when thing go well.  I have met several "cousins" on because of DNA and because of WikiTree's relationship finder.  Turns out to be wonderful when we know of all the same people!

Enjoy!
