For those with TURNER ancestry but haven't taken a DNA test there is a group which lists the results. The Y-DNA test is recommended.

Thanks for the link. Couldn't find any direct line Turners but I did find Collins Turner b1811, brother of my GG grandfather,  Nickolas b1818.

Turquoise line.
I am so new to DNA that I have no idea how to interpret what it says. Would you please tell me how to use the chart? Also, is there somewhere I can read about DNA and learn how to interpret some of the findings?
Gone to talks about DNA for beginners and still don't understand it.  Anyway here is some info - https://mmgs.wordpress.com/home/dna-and-genealogy/  Good luck.
Here is another resource for how to interpret Y-DNA results https://dna-explained.com/2014/09/04/what-does-and-doesnt-a-y-dna-match-mean/
Sorry I posted this as an answer, should have been a comment.

My father's DNA results are part of that Turner Surname project.  It is listed in Group 7 (Pumpkin colored group) His name is William T. Turner and kit # 14043 .   I would like to know if anyone matches with that group that is on wikitree.
Is the middle name"Taylor" Turner by chance? Alabama? I wish I knew how to locate what you are asking. I am very excited but new and lost for the moment. We just submitted a DNA test on my Father William Boyce Turner whose father is Joseph Taylor Turner but have done a lot of research on my own and have a history of Williams and Taylors. I will try to figure out your DNA question though.
William Thomas Turner or William Thora Turner, sorry.

His name sake is William Thora Turner, but his first son was named William Thomas Turner and second son named George William Turner.   So go figure..And he was called Bill!

I am so please to find this information!
