The surname Liston may be Old English or Norman or both. It is found throughout the British Isles and the former British Empire as well as in parts of Europe and the Philippines. Where else?

Early Listons in the US came in the 17th century. Many came from Ireland in the 19th century primarily and settled widely throughout Canada and the US.

The focal point for the surname in Ireland is County Limerick where the majority of Listons lived, but there were Listons in other counties as well.

This space can provide an opportunity to pursue Liston genealogy, build Liston family trees, and create a repository for data and artifacts.
