Can't find him in the 1911 census but hopefully this helps:

GRO index (no link possible)

PERKINS, WILLIAM  CHARLES GEORGE    HOPKINS
GRO Reference: 1885  D Quarter in LAMBETH  Volume 01D  Page 503

Corresponding FreeBMD entry:

http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/information.pl?cite=WIeL0oJ2dh%2FdeYjS0W868A&scan=1

By 1901 they'd moved to Yorkshire. You can see William's parents were George and Rhoda J and his age of 15 confirms the birth record from 1885.

"England and Wales Census, 1901," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XS9Y-52W : 29 August 2015), William C G Perkins in household of John W Hogarth, Bridlington, Yorkshire (East Riding), England; from "1901 England, Scotland and Wales census," database and images, findmypast (http://www.findmypast.com : n.d.); citing Bridlington subdistrict, PRO RG 13, The National Archives, Kew, Surrey

Edit:

Oh you already had that census entry ... sorry. His place of birth is given as Herne Hill which would have fallen under Lambeth's registration district.

Here's his mother's birth record (her mother's maiden name was WHITNALL according to the GRO index)

Thank you so much Matthew. Haven't heard anything about a Whitnall before. And that Hoghwart family, is there anyway to know if they were related somehow?

About that census, a user says it's 1911 Census, in Lambeth, and she wrote me that my great grandfather was there living with uncles, but didn't said anything else, and I'm quite interested now, hope I can find something about it. Thanks again!

I've found him in the 1911 census now

"England and Wales Census, 1911," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XWD4-MGH : 20 January 2015), William Charles George Perkins, Beckenham, Beckenham, Kent, England; from "1911 England and Wales census," database and images, findmypast (http://www.findmypast.com : n.d.); citing PRO RG 14, The National Archives of the UK, Kew, Surrey

Unfortunately the 1911 census is not indexed as well as the others on familysearch and you can't see the household but you can also find it on findmypast. His birthplace is Herne Hill and he is described as Nephew although in fact Alice Matilda's maiden name was Hopkins therefore he was her nephew.

Thanks!!!
