Information about Pennington-3347

Question

I have searched everywhere I know to search and I cannot find the parents of Mary Pennington.  I'm at a roadblock.  She married Martin Petty. I've seen places where her name is Mary Tackett (which I'm wondering if that's not her mother's maiden name).  Then I've seen where her name is Mary Pennington and then Fannie Penningtons and Mary F. Pennington and even Fanny Clack *whew*.  If anyone has access to any other databases or research that I've not been able to reach, any help would be so appreciated.  Myself and another genealogist have been looking for weeks.
