These are father, David, and son, Charles P.  I am looking for David's birth family most likely in Maine.  He was probably born about 1803.  The middle initial, which may or may not indicate a middle name, is P.  Patten was a middle name of a Sargent in Amesbury, MA...his mother's maiden name was Patten.  I find it interesting that both David and his son, Charles, had P as a middle initial.

Edit...Charles was married to Abby Rowe in between Cinthia and Eliza Moulton.  Their daughter was Laura Octavia Sargent.  A daughter of Charles and Eliza, Nellie, had Charles Perry Sargent as her father's name on the marriage record.
