Where did Matilda Francis disappear to?

Hello all. I am totally stumped as to where Matilda Francis went after 1891. She was born in 1877c in Bromley,England. She was still in england in 1881 then went to Canada with her family and appears in the 1891 census - St Patrick Ward,  Toronto.  Did she get married,  die or return to England?  Her parents were William Thomas Francis and Louisa Andrews. I live in England and don't have access to Canadian records. Could anybody help me please? Thanks

Lesley, You can access Canadian records through a free site, familysearch.org . There are a lot of entries for persons named Matilda Francis in London, England.
Hello Frank. Thanks for reply. I have Matilda in Canada in 1891. I have traced her parents and siblings in England in 1901 when they returned. (My granddad and 2 brothers were born in Canada during this time) Louisa married a Robinson in Canada so stayed behind. Matilda seemed to disappear. I will look at everything you have sent me. Thank you. Regards Lesley

This could be her married to Walter Wray.  Her maiden name is listed as Francis on several of the children's records (a few of those records are on FamilySearch.org).  There is a Francis Andrews age 73 (listed as gr-daughter, but it may be her grandmother or some version of her mother's name w/ Andrews surname).

1901 Toronto:

"Canada Census, 1901", database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:KHG2-7K5 : 20 December 2016), Matilda Wray in entry for Walter Wray, 1901.

I believe the Francis Andrews age 73 is Felicia Andrews, Matilda's grandmother.  She is listed age 63 in the 1891 census with Matilda.

Also, there is a census record of a Walter Wray living in St. Patrick Ward, Toronto, 1881 (don't see his 1891):

Thanks Mary. Will look at this over the next few days. It does look possible. Thank you. Regards Lesley
Lesley ~

You're very welcome!
Hello and thank you. Yes this Frances Andrews is almost positively Felicia Andrews. It all makes sense now because Felicia went to Canada with the family in 1882. Well done and thank you again. It has made me very happy. I will now try and trace some more of my Canadian family. Regards Lesley.
