Looking for more information on Alexander Gibson, father of John Lawrence Gibson (b. 6 August 1902)

Question

I'm researching my family tree and have gotten stuck at my great-great grandfather, Alexander Gibson. I believe he was born in Scotland. His son was John Lawrence Gibson ("Jack") who was married to Ida Alice Gibson (born KING). I believe that John Lawrence Gibson came over to South Africa in the early 1900s. I'd appreciate any leads! Hi--my family history includes the Gibson's & Kings. Alexander Gibson (your great great grandfather) was married to Jane (Moore) & had 10 children--John, Margaret, James, John, Stuart & children deceased at birth.  Alexander & Janet Gibson's son, Stuart (or Stewart)  would be my great Grandfather-. Stewart Gibson married Rebecca Evans (of Scotland) they had 14 children--From these children, is where the Gibson's married into the King family.
