Calling all Conway!!!!

Has anybody from THIS direct lineage done both YDNA and autosomal DNA testing? Conway-295    Thimas Conway, b. 1771, Rectortown, VA - d. 1835 Boone, Missouri.  Married Ann Rector. We are looking for anyone to compare DNA to help confirm lineage!!!

Our family dilemma - my own Conway male line ended at my maternal grandfather. He has been gone since 1976. He only had 3 daughters, 2 of whom are still with us. We cannot take any test other than autosomal to establish confirmation of his Conway lineage. 3 of us have already tested, and we are waiting for my aunt's results to come back. A cousin who is also a direct descendent of Henry Conway, Y tested with FTDNA quite a few years back, and was told he is a King, not a Conway. I believe he is 98 years old, and am unsure if this was a misunderstanding or if he ever solved his puzzle.  I know of nobody else who has Y tested from this line. If anyone is interested in his results, I have his info, I see nothing about King, but unassigned haplogroup r1b.

Lastly, part of the issue is that many of these families intermarried every couple of generations, so it is hard to pinpoint for us female autosomal takers, where exactly the actual connection is. If we can find a Conway match , I would need some pro DNA assistance to help determine weather the lineage is jiving with the shared DNA. I read something posted earlier by Peter (I think Peter is the head honcho on this site for DNA) about the Colonial Americans possibly sharing more DNA because of all the inter family coupling, I hate being PC sometimes, inbreeding is inbreeding.

So that being said, I would love to connect/compare. My GEDmatch kit is: A417050. I uploaded my report to FTDNA, but will have to dig around to remember my kit # or whatever it's called. I never paid them, so I can't use any of their tools, message system, or even view a match's tree. I'm also on myheritage.com, and DNA.land. I tested with ancestry. My 1c1r, and half brother are also listed on Henry's profile as possible DNA matches, and their kit numbers are displayed. Mazzoli-13, and Muncy-305. My aunts results are expected at the end of Jan. 2017.
