Need the parents of Daniel Edwards 1790-1870 Suffolk Cty NY

Question

I have been researching the Edwards line from Middle Island , Brookhaven area of Suffolk County NY, but I have run in to a problem with finding the parents of Daniel Edwards born c. 1790 died 1870. His spouse was Sarah Polly Sweezey, c 1790 died 1850. They were married in 1821 and had three children Augustus, Orlando and Jehiel (1827-1901) was my 3x grandfather. I did find some info on Daniels parents but I can't verify it anywhere. Found his father was Walter and mother was possibly (Eliza, Elizabeth) Jane (Squires) Edwards, but couldn't find anymore info to support it. Please give me some guidance! Thanks Pam

Thank you.. I hadn't checked back to see if there was an answer. I see my 3x ggmother parents etc were found, but I had already gotten that info. I keep looking at a Daniel Edwards in that area at that time or 20 or so years earlier. I suspect his fathers name was also Daniel. But I still have had no luck. Sooner or later I will find it.
