Did Mary Jones (b. 1755 Franklin Co., VA, to Indiana) marry William Arthur Monroe or William Mavity?

Researchers show that Reverend Robert Jones (1736-1834) had a daughter Mary born in 1755. On Geni this Mary is married to William Mavity, and on WikiTree she is my ancestor and is married to William Arthur Monroe. Here on WikiTree we have profiles for both Mrs. Monroe and Mrs. Mavity. Both women wound up in Indiana, where I was born. Do we have any 18th century experts who can help me learn which Mary was really the daughter of Rev. Jones?

The above Pedigree Resource File was submitted on 6/12/2016 and it shows William Arthur Monroe married Mary Jones. Mary is shown as the daughter of Robert Jones and Martha Riley.

Generally it's best to verify accuracy of submissions. Since this is a relatively recent submission, you may want to contact the author.
Did not find a Mary Jones Mavity who died in Jefferson, Indiana.

Frank, thanks, verifying the accuracy of these unsourced family trees is exactly what I'm hoping to do. Mary (Jones) Mavity lived in Ripley County, Indiana, which is just north of Jefferson County. The unsourced FindAGrave memorial for Mary Mavity says she is buried in the Mavity family burying ground on their farm near Rexville, Ripley County, Indiana. A document attached to William Mavity's memorial says they migrated from Virginia to Indiana in 1824, not long before both died.

Karen - Jesse Ruble Jones' (son of Mary's brother David Jones) letter of May 6, 1877 states in part:

"My Grandfather Robert Jones married a Miss Riley they had Four sons Elijah who moved to Georgia. Jesse who lived in the same neighborhood until 1859 and died at the age of 104. he [sic] was a Baptist Preacher. I heard him preach in 1796 and I was told he preached a Month before hedied. One of Father’s brothers named Isaac moved to Clay County Ky about 1800. I have not heard of since another Jonathan. I think must have died young as could not hear of him in Virginia.

My father had three sisters: Mary who married Wm McVity [sic] had one son named John was a Methodist Preacher. Elizabeth married Thurman and Tabitha married Hale -

I have gone ahead and added Mary Jones Mavity as a daughter of Robert Jones on this basis.
