Many researches in the past have added the "s" to the end of this name for reasons unknown to me. Though this profile is lacking sources at this time, the information regarding her sibling Edward, indicates that the proper last name spelling was indeed Daniel. There is also a pending merge with the incorrect last name spelling. I would very much like to move forward with the merge and clear the duplicate profile. I would also like to protect the integrity of this profile that I and another active researcher have put time and effort in to.
