Looking for Info  to where Henry Barnes could have been buried at & Who his father possibly could be.

Henry H. Barnes was born 1827- 1829 in North Carolina. It is thought that his mother is Mariah Barnes Price.

Mariah Barnes had bastardy bond charges against her for giving birth to two bastard children and was held chargeable to the county and fined. There was a case held by the State vs Mariah Barnes in January of 1831 at Haywood County NC. She does not name the Father in the Bastardy Bond.

Who would have been the Father ? A next door Neighbor or someone the family knew ? or was he born in a different county prior to coming to Haywood County NC  in 1830 ?

Mariah later married Richard Price Dec 1 1834 at Haywood County NC and had 3 more children with him.

There was a case held against Henry H. Barnes along with John Caldwell and Thomas Barnes and a Zack/Jack? Barnes. The incident Occurred on Dec 31st 1848/ January 1st 1849 in Haywood County NC where they beat up William Price for Abusing his wife Mary Caldwell Price.  It is thought that Mary Caldwell Price was a sister to Catherine Caldwell and Frances Caldwell.

Henry Barnes married Catherine Caldwell June 28 1850 at Haywood County NC.

Henry Barnes was murdered by either Teague's Men or Kirk's Raiders.  The story in the family is that  he was shot in the face and dragged up to the Mountain and they left him for Dead.  He crawled off the mountain into some lady 's yard while she was hanging up laundry outside , she saw him and had someone go for the doctor but he died of his wounds Hours later.  HIs Burial location is unknown at the moment.

His wife Catherine Caldwell Barnes claimed in December of 1866 on probate record that took place in 1867  that Henry H. Barnes had died in October of 1864. There are few books out there that claims Henry Barnes was killed in March or April of 1865 along with a few other men such as Levi Shelton.  Now we are not sure which one is the definite date for his death.

Henry H. Barnes owned Property at Big Creek and Chestnut Branch in Haywood County NC ,

If he was to be buried where would it have been at ?
