I couldn't find any cousins at WikiTree, so I would like start a new tree (which will inevitably connect, of course).  I am a amateur genealogist with reams of paper scrawlings which need to be put into order.  I tried Geni, but it turned out to be a huge waste of time and effort.  As well, even if my budget did allow for monthly fees at a genealogy site, I think there is something backwards about being charged to work so hard.  Although I am not clerically inclined, I am a resourceful (dog-with-a-bone) researcher. :)

Thanks for your consideration, Kim.
