Please help with categories for Confederate Corporal killed in action. Thanks!

Question

[[Hancock-6006|Jeremiah T. Hancock]] enlisted in the Georgia infantry during the United States Civil War and became Third Corporal Jeremiah T Hancock, Company H, 50th Regiment, Georgia Infantry.

[[Hancock-6006|Jeremiah T. Hancock]] Killed in action in the Battle of Boonsboro Gap/South Mountain on September 14, 1862 and temporarily buried at the battle site.

I am pretty much a novice with civil war categories (obviously set up by a Yankee -- since there would be a category for "War of Northern Aggression" -- a jest, really).

I don't believe, after reading through several of the military categories, that there is a category "KIA" for the civil war. Try removing that from the category name to get that particular category to be acceptable to WikiTree.

I'm still getting the hang of categories here, but I think you want [[Category: American Civil War, KIA, Confederate]].  That seems to be the existing structure.  I'm not positive that is correct, but I tried it and it seems to work. Hopefully that is right
