Who are the parents of Benjamin Spencer (1763-1781)?

It is impossible for him to be the son of Abraham Spencer (who died in 1761) and Lucy Dickerson.  Lucy was married to Matthew Cox at the time and gave birth to her son, Ambrose Cox in 1763 the purported year of Benjamin Spencer's birth.  The Ancestry family tree used to support his birth must be in error.  The Spencer Family Association show only Griffith, Abraham, Martin, Susannah, Lucy, and John as children of Abraham and Lucy.  Moreover, Benjamin Spencer (b. 1763) has different DNA than his purported brothers and sisters and parents.

He was born 1760 and died 1826 in Virginia; he has a Revolutionary War page on ancestry.com. Sometimes people think someone dies early because they lose track of them: I.E. they fall off the face of the earth, to put it so.

Edit: He potentially died in 1842 in SC, as well. Or that may be a different Benajmin Spencer.
