Should Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin be notable?

Not much information as far as genealogy is concerned I'm afraid. Maybe someone with Russian background can help?
WikiTree profile: Yuri Gagarin

He's undoubtedly notable but, as your question already anticipates, without access to Russian/Soviet records it's somewhat irrelevant as no-one's going to be able to connect him to the main tree.

The same source mentions that Клу́шино is the residence of his parents and that he was born in the hospital in Гжатск (Gžatsk), renamed to Гага́рин (Gagarin) in 1968.
Awesome! Would you be interested in adding that info to his profile?

I have some starting point data for other Cosmonauts on the category page https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:Cosmonauts I created, but I am hesitant to create profiles for them, since I don't have access to genealogical data. That category grew out of Space Shuttle crew work I was doing. I have a habit of casting a wide net. :)
I can add what I have to the profile but Russian genealogy in general is so far from my current area of work that I would have to leave any additional research to somebody else.
That would be great. The source you posted did not go anywhere useful, so I imagine it got wiki-cised and broken. The profile is open, but if you need to be added to the trusted list I will do so.

How about Pushkin?

Sergei Maltsov is on Wikitree. I understand (forgive my extremely limited knowledge of Russian) that his mother was previously married to Vassili Puskin, uncle of Alexander. So it seems feasible to add a profile for Alexander Pushkin and connect him. Should it be done?

(I have worked on a few profiles of Russian-born people, but orphaned most of them, I'm simply not good enough to manage them).

(And the transliterations are French, don't shoot me, I'll be more than happy to change them).
