Anna Jeffries see Jeffries-316 seems to have died in Manitoba being buried in the Westbourne Cemetery or at least a stone in her memory is there.  Anna was borne in Quebec.

Does anyone have any clues as to whom her parents were.

The 1851 Census of Canada lists Anna as Hannah and has her mother (and this is an assumption) living with her.

Anna Jefferys, Widow, b. Ireland, Episcopalian, age 65 ...so born around 1786.

Here is the census info so you can find the copy

Year: 1851; Census Place: Grenville, Deux Montagnes County, Canada East (Quebec); Schedule: A; Roll: C_1147; Page: 69; Line: 16

The census also includes sons Henry & Robert as well as George N Albright.
Thank you so much.  Did you see her parents name?  I tried to look up tho part but couldn't see the Jeffries on it.  I believe her mothers name was ask Anna or Hznnah and her fathers name was David but unsure of this.  If you see her parents names please advise

I uploaded the 1851 Census of Canada to Anna's profile. (see comment below Betty's answer)

You can take a look and determine the if the information is what you are looking for or not. Feel free to delete the census jpg. if you don't think its relevant.

I added some more sources to Anna and George's profiles and tidied things up a bit. Hopefully it is to your liking.

The Manitoba Historical Society is an interesting resource if you have Manitoba family.  In particular I found the section on notables of interest.
http://www.mhs.mb.ca/docs/people/index.shtml

The Hudson Bay Company archives are now held by Manitoba and could be a useful resource for this research.  Many HBC employees were recruited from Scotland and who then settled in Canada after their contracts were up, in areas like Selkirk's Red River settlement. Also for those families where there forebear went back to Scotland, including Metis in Scotland.

i have used both these sites.  the Hudson Bay site was excellent for finding this man's daughters husband as Laurence Smith came to Canada in the employee of the Hiudsob Bay Company.  Tyhe Manitoba Histoeical Society is also an interesting site and many well-known Manitobans are on it.

Thank you for showing your interest.
