Need proof of being 1st Cousins even though they are married

Based on a comment of a supposed picture of John Tuck and Harriet Tuck is that they are first cousins, even though they are married. I'm trying to figure out Harriet's father Charles Tuck's siblings and their childern to validate this connection officially. Confirmation that his, Charles, parents are also correct would be a bonus. Thank you!

> Charles Tuck (abt. 1808 - 1877) was born in Barningham, Norfolk, England, moved to Ontario, Canada where he died.
> Harriet Tuck (1850 - 1914) was born in Nelson, Ontario, Canada where she died.
> John Tuck (1843 - 1910) was born in Barningham, Norfolk, England, moved to Ontario, Canada where he married Harriet in Wentworth, Ontario, Canada on 31 January 1872 and also where he died.

Emily ~

I found records that would indicate the John Tuck in the 1861 Canada census is Harriet's cousin.  But before posting them, I should ask you if you think that he is the same John Tuck that Harriet married.  Reason being their 4/5 year age difference.  Do you have a death record for John Tuck?  I do see another John Tuck born 1842 in the same place to a William and Hannah Tuck.  But I haven't yet been able to place him in Canada.

Here is the 1851 England Census of the John Tuck living near Harriet in 1861.  His mothers maiden name is Hannah Page.

"England and Wales Census, 1851," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:SGDV-VSD : 24 July 2016), Robert Tuck, Thwaite All Saints, Norfolk, England; citing Thwaite All Saints, Norfolk, England, p. 7, from "1851 England, Scotland and Wales census," database and images, findmypast (http://www.findmypast.com : n.d.); citing PRO HO 107, The National Archives of the UK, Kew, Surrey.

Copies of Parish Registers for Norfolk can be viewed on FamilySearch.

You can view the Marriage Register image for Charles TUCK & Mary PAYNE in 1829 at Heydon with Irmingland here

Have not been able to find a baptism in Barningham for either Charles c1808 or John TUCK c1842. Unfortunately Little Barningham Registers are not available, but you may have some luck with the Archdeacon's Transcripts or Bishops Transcripts

Here are the birth/baptism records I used for John and his brother Joseph Tuck.  I mention Joseph because he was the other family link to East Flamboro, Wentworth, Ontario.  If you'd like any of the other records I found, just let me know.

John's birth record:

"England, Norfolk Bishop's Transcripts, 1685-1941," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:27C5-HYL : 27 December 2014), William Tuck in entry for John Tuck, 24 Apr 1842; citing Christening, Barningham Parva, Norfolk, England, Record Office, Central Library, Norwich; FHL microfilm 1,526,555.

Joseph's birth record:

Name: Joseph Thomas Tuck
Gender: Male
Baptism Date: 30 May 1851
Baptism Place: Barningham Parra, Norfolk, England
Father: William Tuck
Mother: Hannah Tuck
FHL Film Number: 1526561

Emily ~

I found what appears to be the 1861 census for the family's of both Harriet Tuck and John Tuck.  They are on the same page 4 households apart.  I uploaded the census image to Harriet's profile in the case you don"t have access to Ancestry.

Though in their marriage record John Tuck's father is listed as William.  On the census, his father is listed as Robert.  Might be a first and middle name.  His mother on both records is listed as Hannah.

I will research their fathers to see if Robert and William are the same.  And to see if he is Charles brother (or related somehow).

I think Harriet's husband is the other John Tuck I mentioned.  Sorry if I complicated things with the neighbors/cousins.

It appears this John Tuck had a brother Joseph who died in the same place Harriet and John were married (East Flamboro, Wentworth, Ontario).

His parents were listed as William Tuck and Hannah Barrwig.

I'm pretty sure William's parents were Joseph Tuck and Ann Howse.  I don't know if Joseph Tuck is the same as you have for Charles father.  Don't see anything for Charles Tuck's birth.

I will post John Tuck's 1861 England Census record and William Tuck's birth record.
