I predict a connection to this Richard Hood in the very near future. I am also working the Hood family of South Carolina. The John and Richard Hood Clan is a book you may want to study.

Ok Thank's if you see anything you need to fix please go ahead and fix it,  I just ran across this line working on my Direct line and just was wondering if anyone had any information , I keep seeing Hood in my family but don't know if I have a direct descendent yet, Thanks again for the information
Tony should I go ahead and change his birth to Virgina?  by 1840 he is in Eastern Division of Pickens County are we sure this is them, but it says on the Census that he was born in South Carolina,  I know that could be a mistake or he could have just said he was born South Carolina,  I just wanted to point that out , I did put your information on their as a note, UP TOP, Thank you ,
On the 1850 Census look  below Richard Hood and his family, their  is an Enoch Hood Age 26 and his family you thank this is a brother of Richard Hood I believe they are a connection here also?

Just added this daughter

There was a Susan Hendricks who died 1897 whose husband was Trotter. It could possibly be her second marriage.

She may have been a Clark or just Spelled it Hendrix like the Find a grave says because Susan that married Henry Otis Trotter was listed on his 1860 Census with a house full of Children,  so this would be different lady , on one of the Census they was Un older lady with the last name Clark but that could be a house keeper , I guess another wall for now, I put a note, Thanks for helping
Frank he is from Abbeville Long Cane Creek is where his family is from he is that set of Breazeale or  Maybe Breazeal , Henry Breazeale to Willis Breazeale to George Washington Breazeale he is in a Will from Willis Breazeale ' s of Long Cane Creek,  Abbeville South Carolina
I don't believe this is the one here I'm working but is one of my other family members. Thanks Frank Gill .I'm back working on the Hood families with Trotter, Breazeale, Watson, Masters it took me back to Richard Hood now I'm looking for Travis Hood born about 1787 SC
