I am working on db errors in my list and have run across profiles that are locked even though the person has already passed on. Shouldn't these profiles be opened up?

Any profile of a deceased person without any sensitive information in it should be Open. Profiles of people over 200 years old must be Open. Open is not an option for living people.

This profile of a 16 year old who recently passed away may be sensitive since it lists his sibling along with his parents who are still alive.

Thanks Susan Laursen for Best Answer!!!

According to WikiTree rules, the answer is NO. It is solely up to the profile manager whether to allow full access to a given profile within the 100 year range. You can always leave a note on the profile you are working on or message the profile manager to alert them of the error.
