His father was William T Parker b. 1812 his mother was Lucinda Queen  it looks like he was the third child , and is wife looks like Ester J. need her last name I got some Census on profile,  Thanks

The one named Samuel J is in the 25th Regiment, North Carolina Infantry which recruited from Haywood county.

Ok I have him in The Battle of Mechanicsville in 1862 , Samuel J Parker, his father William T Parker nick name Jur, he was in the War as an older man in life and the oldest son of William T Parker was Benjamin Parker he died from wounds the mother of Samuel and Benjamin was Lucinda Queen,  this is information I have ,

I've had luck with that on Fold 3 when searching military records for the civil war, it's sporadic,some give the age some don't. If you don't have a fold 3 account I can try tomorrow, right now i'm pooped.

Esther Jane's maiden name is Carson or Corson. I posted her death certificate. It looks like he died in 1900 per FindAGrave. I added his Military template to his profile.

Ok Doug Thanks,  I was working on them Parker's again I had a lot of information mailed to me on the family but I'm not manager of some of the profiles and they are a note saying add if I have information,  do I add or what my DNA infor, is posted on the side , I just don't want to make anyone upset , you know sometimes people don't talk back for days or ever weeks,
