The 25-character limit for AncestryDNA user name entry here is too short

A user is entering her AncestryDNA test results using our Add -> DNA Test Information feature, but we limit the user name data field to 25 characters. What should we do? Increase the field size? Offer a workaround, such as using the notes field to enter the user name?

Depends upon the name. Perhaps using initials or common name abbreviations would help in the short term?

According to the page: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/AncestryDNA, the username field is optional. So they can abbreviate.

And yes, there is a comment box for additional notes.

Since we offer the field, I'd like to see us allow for longer names. Workarounds are good stopgaps, but let's see if a quick change to the database could make this simpler.
Ancestry has a 25 character limit on usernames itself, so there's no reason to change our database to allow for a wider field.
Dennis, thanks! A mentor reported that a new guest had a longer username, but maybe that person was mistaken.
Thank you, Dennis!
