Are we Burkes related?

Question

Aside from having a popular name, we Burkes are pretty scattered and have mostly lost track of or just never bothered to keep tabs on other family members. I'm looking for any information that will help me fill in the blanks to our family history - living, deceased, past, present and future. Have a look over my family tree and tell me if you see anyone that looks familiar or someone you have been trying unsucessfully to track down:

Finding lost Burks is also a passion of mine.  After hitting stone walls multiple times working backwards I've decided to take a different approach.  Only a couple hundreds were in the US Census of 1790.  I'm working on connecting as many as possible to WikiTree profiles.  If you are interested I've created free space page.

I'm not sure if we are related, but I did find what appears to be the next link up on your tree.  In familysearch.org I found a marriage record showing that Holmes Conover Burk married Sarah Ann Woodfield on 12/25/1865 in New Jersey.  It shows his parents as John and Mary Burk.  findagrave.com shows his father as John H Burke born 7/18/1815 and died 10/25/1865 and is mother as Mary (nee - unknown) born 1814 and died 4/4/1864.

 

I traced my line back past Richard Burk born 1640 in England who was the 1st immigrant to the U.S. in that line.  Most of my ancesters moved to Vermont and some eventually to Michigan.
