Thank you Doug , how do I get a list of his Regiment and my Direct 3rd great Grandfather Capt. Andrew Dillard Hooper ' s Regiment so I can see all the men's names they fought with, I believe these families was over there farms in Western North Carolina,  these men maybe interesting to study on,  Thanks for all the help I would like to join the son's of the Confederacy and the SAR, all these information on her should show my proof,  right?

Go to this website  https://www.nps.gov/civilwar/search-soldiers.htm and on the search page, put in the names, state etc. Here is a result for Andrew and Thaddeus

Ok Thank's Chris I will look it over and fugue out everything I hope,  I'm slow on this tablet the Computer I got I can't use it as good but my son- in -law took junk off of my tablet I didn't need
