Can you provide any info on the ancestry of Robert campbell, father of Elizabeth campbell?

b approximately 1718, d 24 dec 1810.  uncertain who his wife is, as I have a concern for the wife listed (Martha ellen stockett)...and the children on the familysearch page...I have seen him as being married to a jane Campbell, but her birth year was shown as 1744! anyway , I know this isnot much to go with.  I do know he was born in Ireland.  he had a daughter Elizabeth who married Robert Mitchell...And they are from southern Indiana/Kentucky area.

It's easier to answer a question if you post a wikitree id in the question. Perhaps, you were planning to post a new profile for Robert Campbell and needed feedback. Go to the search button, and check out the two profiles of Robert Campbell already there.  There's a third one as well, but it needs a lot of fixing.  Death place needs fixing.

I don't know if the Robert Campbell of whom your speaking is the son of John Campbell and Grizzel Hay.  He was married twice, first to a Letitia Crockett and secondly, to Jane Allison.  Elizabeth Campbell was the daughter of the first mother.

I never found a Martha Ellen Stockett, but sometimes files get corrupted.  If it is the right Robert Campbell, there are two profiles already on Wikitree that need to be merged.  Each was born Ulster, Ireland in 1718 and died in Virginia in 1810.
