daughter of: James Taylor b:06 Jul 1788, at Mercer, PA, d: 30 Jun 1855 at Connelsville, Pa and his spouse:

Rebecca was married to William Forshey b: 15 Mar 1819 at Cass Twp., PA and d: 15 Aug 1888 at Valley, Armstrong, PA

My name is Dan Hamilton. I have a wiki tree that I have not attended to in a while and am also at Ancestry.com. I need to prove to SAR that Rebecca is the daughter of James and Margaret. This proof is the last hurdle I need to jump to get my SAR application from the local level to the state for verification. IF, I should happen to have Rebecca's parents incorrectly shown and you know who they should be, please let me know that.

Thanks so much!!

Hello,

I had actually found this previously. Margaret shows up in the 1850 Cass Twp. census in the residence adjoining the Forsheys' and as you pointed out, she is I their household in 1860. My SAR registrar thinks this is too thin and wants stronger proof. Rebecca doesn't fall in the correct timeframe for a marriage license or death certificate. Sooo, I'm thinking either an obituary for Rebecca or her parents or a will from her father showing her as a child.

Thanks so much for your effort!!
