I am trying to locate the Parish of Toor, supposedly in Killarney, County kerry,

My late grandmother  b. 1881, always mentioned the Parish of Toor, as being the one her Irish family came from.  However, i can't find it on the internet. Her parents emigrated from that area around 1879- !880

Your grandmother may have been talking about townland No. 43 within the civil parish of Thurles.

BINGO!!! I found that area called Toor (#43) on this page

However..it is located in the County of Tipperary...not County kerry
