Is there proof that Aveline de (Hesding) Hesdin is a daughter to Alexander I of Scotland?

Does anyone have proof that King Alexander I is the father to Aveline de (Hesding) Hesdin? She was reportedly born in France in the early 1100s.

I found the following internet reference that suggests she is the daughter of  William D'AUBIGNY ( -1176) and Adeliza (Adela) OF LOUVAIN (1103?-1151). It seems to be based on a credible source but i don't have access to it: Weis, Frederick Lewis & Sheppard, Walter Lee, Jr, "Ancestral Roots of Certain American Colonists Who Came to America before 1700: Lineages from Alfred the Great, Charlemagne, Malcolm of Scotland, Robert the Strong, and other Historical Individuals". p 145, 149-26; 225, 246B-26.

Both the Hesdins the the d'Aubignys show up in my family tree.  According to my research, Aveline is the daughter of Ernulf de Hesdin, Count of Perche.  I have imformation about William and Adeliza d'Aubigny and the list of their children does not include an Aveline, although they did have seven children, including Alice and Agatha.

No, and there never will be. She was the daughter of Arnulf deHesdin. Her father under Duke William was the holder of Pais de Calais, where she was born. He was one of the five Knights who were in service of Robert Malet at the conquest of 1066, and were selected to accompanie him at the burial of the fallen king. Robert Malet was rewarded for his service with Norfolk and Suffolk, where he set up these five faithful knights with their holdings, one of which was the castle at Horsford, where we find Avelina as Arnulf's only living decendant living with both of her husbands- Alan FitzVlad (father of the Stewards of Scotland) and secondly Robert Fitz Walter (father of the Boyd and the FitzRobert of Magna Carta fame, both of which served as sheriff of Norfolk/Suffolk. For evidence of this we must look beyond property and to heraldry, whree we find the arms of Arnulf deHesding (sable, fess chequey gulles) as the sign of the exchequers of Normandy reflected in all of the grandsons of Avelina- the Boyd (field of Azure), Stewart (field of Or), Lindsey (field of Argent), and Houston (Or, chevron chequey) all bear the fess chequey as the sign of the exchequers in which book we can read their history.

If you look at the first cite from thepeerage.com (attached) you will note that she is listed in the Peerage of Scotland.  While not proof of anything, it does give a definate cite and resources to her parents.

I couldn't find her at thepeerage.com - could you post the URL?
nevermind. i found enough without it, and the Geni profile has a link to thepeerage.com.

And after developing the profile for "Hesding-2", wife of James de St Hilary, I agree with the comment John posted to her profile, that she should be "Unknown", not Hesding, daughter of Arnulf d'Hesdin (who thepeerage & other sources show to be born 20 years earlier, at least, and wife of Alan FitzFlaad).

and... found several profiles for "not Aveline m James de St Hilary":

Husband:

Aveline:

See also [this soc-gen.medieval discussion] and Wikipedia: Alan fitz Flaad m Aveline, daughter of Ernulf de Hesdin

If no objection, I'll change Hesding-2 to Unknown.

changed LNAB to Unknown.
