How do I get a profile between my mother & her youngest daughter's father to not say husband, but maybe partner??

I don't see how to change my mother's partner from husband on her profile.

She was not married to my youngest sister's husband.

Thanks,

Sue

Hi Sue, Can you make the question a bit more clear?

Is your mother shown as married to her daughterʻs husband?  The link to James Lewis does not seem to match your question.

Was she instead not married to her daughterʻs father?  That would be easy to fix, all you would need to do is go the the motherʻs profile edit page and on the right had side find the spouse and edit to change to not married. The father would still be the father and the mother would remain the mother and no marriage would show up.

I'm sorry. Yes, you got it right. My youngest sister has a different father & when I put it in, it says our Mother & her Father were married. I didn't know how to fix that. I expected there to be something that said partner for example. I will try what you suggested.

Thanks so much!

Sue
It worked!

Thanks again Kristina Adams!
