Hello again Marilyn, I left you a message regarding your Grandmother.  My suggestions for Jesse Baxter is to give us any clues you have.  Take a look at the other answer.

Hints can really help, for example if you know the birth year of one of his children you can estimate Jesseʻs birth year as 20 to 30 years before. If his son was born in 1920 (just an example) you could estimate Jesseʻs birth year as 1890-1900
