Oyster Bay, New York is where my Robert Mathews born 1705 passed through but I think the other Mathews line I am autosomal related to is this link

I have a DNA cousin that matches Emma Bumpers 1891-1964 and David Chapman Mathews 1886-1980, so I believe our match is before them. I think since Isaac Mathews who died 1769 his line was in New York, that our Mathews surname is through his line. I also have Weeks surname matches.
I have a match with someone who has John Mathews 1625-1690 and Mary Plumley.
On the Braxton side I have a match with Samuel Mathews 1685-1718 and Elizabeth Braxton 1685-1705 but there are quite a few Palmer's on that line above them, so that's why I think the match there is through that Palmer line. I am working on these lines trying to connect and sort through them if anyone else is also working on them we can work together.
I think my Townsend line is through the Coles line. I read the Coles were one of the first families to Oyster Bay, New York. I need to find my notes on the Palmers. But I also have lines in Chester Pennsylvania, Lancaster Pennsylvania then they moved to Augusta Virginia.
