Looking for Aaron Tuttle, b 1796, m Elizabeth Ayers 1819 Hanover NJ, son Samuel b 1827 Morristown NJ

Please contact me it is my brick wall. I have proof of Marriage and death of Aaron, cannot find grave or parents of Aaron. May have last name as Tuthill. Do not know what state in which Aaron was born.

A good book for you,would be "Tuthill Lines In America" On paragraph 8 page 504

is a reference to Samuel Aires Tuttle (Tuthill") your local library may have a copy.

His father Aaron Burr Tuthill "Tuttle"  1796-1827 ,mother Elizabeth Ayers,1800-???

A daughter is shown Julia Ann Tuttle.

Unfortunately, that turned out to be incorrect. Went to the library in Morristown as well as at Rutgers - found the old Palladium newspapers with a little information on Aaron - and was able to find the handwritten copy of the marriage in 1819 by Rev John Boozer.

Do you know where I could find information on the Baptist Church in Morristown?

Aarons death date was september 4, 1852
