I wanted to share this family photo of Bible of Alace Louvinia Parham with the community. Location: Louisville, Blount, Tennessee. Date: 1848. I love this Bible because it belonged to my great-grandmother. And,because she liked to draw in it, it makes her more real to me. Her name was Alice Louvinia, but on other end pages in this Bible, she like to write her name as Blanche. Just like a lot of young girls today, she wanted a more glamorous name.
