What happened in CT in 1671 that killed George Chatfield and wife?

George Chatfield-149 and Isabel Nettleton-29 died 1671 in Killingworth, Middlesex, Connecticut leaving a 10 year old orphan, John Chatfield-148. Does anybody know the story?

There is some detail at "The Chatfield Family" Principally from Records in the Naugatuck Valley, CT. Compiled in 1896. Here's where you can find it on the net:

This website indicates that George died 1671, but Isabel died c1700.  Looks like a good webiste to look for more info on this family:  http://www.chatfieldheritage.com/lineages/george-chatfield-isabel-nettleton/
