I guess I will se if I can join this group tomorrow,  lol, I will have to ask my wife, lol , got a tell the truth , I don't use no money , but she does pay for ancestry,  Thanks if you believe it's him you can add, it T.C Blackston he was in South Carolina right, Pickens County, South Carolina
Yes, Pickens, South Carolina.  His wife's name, Mrs. Dicey Blackstone, was on a pension record for him in 1863.
Yes that's the wife I have on his profile,  it doesn't have anything about his parents does it,Thanks
Did he die in 1863?
The record states that he died in 1862.  And I don't see anything about his parents on Fold3.
Ok it has to be him  his mother Widowed Mary Blackstone on the 1850 Census Pickens County, South Carolina brother John Hiram Blackstone 1838 1913 sister Judith sister Margaret Anne Blackstone Simmons and a young brother Silas Blackstone his father John Hiram Blackstone 1805-1850 this has to be the right record I don't have a maiden name for his wife but got some of his children,  Thanks for the help.
You're welcome!
