Question

Here's another one stuck at the top of my list:

(BTW, I was unaware that MatchBot can actually approve merges; I thought it could just propose them - but this screen definitely said it had approved it)

I feel it's a decision someone has done that its ok to suggest merges based guessing and not sources.

I don't think matchbot approved-there's a glitch there. Both profiles were Lynn's and she approved.  I have removed the merge proposal.
