Need help finding info on Morris or Maurice Ward DOB ~1825 in England with spouse Ann Corrigan or Kerrigan.

Question

Morris Ward and Ann Corrigan immigrated to Roxbury MA before 1848 and had son Frederick William there. They relocated to Pawtucket MA before 1850 and had son Francis A in 1850 (records also show a Frances in 1850). Frederick enlisted in 56th NY regiment and returned to become Fire Captain in Pawtucket, RI after trade with Mass in 1863. Francis became a jeweler in Providence RI. No more records of Frances.

Were they married in England before emigrating? I searched various British records but drew a complete blank.

Mathew, I am not sure - I have not been able to find a record on either side of the Atlantic. They avoided almost all public records which are normally found in the US and England - no birth, no marriage and no death for either of them.

Thank you for trying to answer my question, however, my search is for information on Morris Ward and Ann Corrigan not their descendants who I have completely documented down to the present. Morris Ward is a roadblock as there is no record I can find of his existence other than in records regarding his offspring. I can find no DOB or death, no census records, no verifiable immigration records -  although Ann is a widow in the 1880 census. I have a possible match to a soldier buried at Sharpsburg, VA but there's no record trail to be sure.
