I wish I could find out more about this Thomas Blackstone that was on the 1810 Census and if he died in battle,  his wife is on the 1820 Census head of House seems she would have got pension from the War if they did that for the 1812-1815 War?
I will look that up for you. see if I find anything
The more I research it looks like he may have been from up north, we have know connection on the Blackstone side to the ones in Georgia as far as I can tell Hiram Blackstone may have been cousin to Hiram King Blackstone of Ohio
Steve you thank that Thomas Wise Blackstone 1780-1835 Virginia maybe my Thomas Blackstone it all adds up he was not on the 1820 census in South Carolina but was back in Virgina in 1820 with another family but he was on 1810 S.C with family and 1812-1814 was in the military in S.C it looks like he left one family in S.C and went back to Virginia and started over 1820 census in S.C shows Judith Blackstone female with children in the Pendleton district by 1840 it shows same family and area but her name is Mary Blackstone I believe Mary and Judith Blackstone is the same women two possible sons John Hiram Blackstone and Richard Blackstone are listed in the same area as grown with families close to Mary Blackstone, these are the only names in the Pendleton district area around this time with the Blackstone or Blackston name

I need to know more about Thomas Wise Blackstone assuming his parents was John Blackstone and Elizabeth Wise,

Thanks for any help
