I would be excited to know if you have learned anymore on Samuel Brown of Chatham County. I have traced my ancestry back to him, but have struggled to find any real evidence that he was son of Andrew Brown (Sr.) of Chatham County, despite numerous postings of that by individuals in their ancestry searches.

Thanks for any feedback.

Fred Brown
I have no proof of kin to Andrew.  I believe that Saml   was British.  I have several theories.  Would love to share.  I am located not far from Brown and Huckaby original properties.
It would be great to share.

Can you email me? Frederickl.brown@gmail.com

Then maybe we can talk real time.

FYI: My father and his father lived in Sanford. My great grandfather was Joseph Ruffin Brown  and his father was Samuel Brown, who lived around Harnett County and died and was buried in Cokesbury area . (Between Lillington and Fuquay) And of course, I have a bunch of Brown cousins around Sanford, Lillington, and a few now around Raleigh.

I hope we have a little in common.
