Why was I deleted as a Profile Manager for William Morris Sr without being consulted first?

 Dee Christophel D'Errico  went in and reworked the profile, and decided unilaterally to delete me from being a Profile Manager.  I do not know why this was done, but I wish to be reinstated forthwith.

I have.  However, the problem is that one profile manager should not be able to just delete other profile managers.  If this can happen to me, it can happen to anyone.  It would have been one thing if Dee had consulted with me before doing so.  But just unilaterally deleting other PM's without consulting them is a problem that needs to be addressed.  And part of this is common courtesy.  If one person just hijacks and does things without consulting, then we are no better than any other genealogial site out there.

What might be good is whenever this is done a reason has to be entered and that is then sent to a moderator of some sort who can review it.  Not all removals are bad/wrong - there are lots of inactive PMs with poor profiles. (And we just had a big discussion on the whole topic.)

But this does not address his issue...quote...." If one person just hijacks and does things without consulting, then we are no better than any other genealogial site out there."  He is right in that this is what happens on familysearch.  His point is... contact a project manager before removing him.  It is a matter of diplomacy.
