Is Wikitree Interested in a copy of 16 Generations of the Morgan Family?

Hi,

I am over my head working on the Fritz and Gilchrist family.  Morgan is the name of my husbands mothers mother.

About twenty years ago the Morgan family hired a professional Genealogist to do the ancestry of the man my husbands grandmother married. The genealogist went to the book published in 1912 by George T. Clark.

My husband is related to Black Beard the pirate and a host of other famous people.  The pages talk about many family names besides Morgan.

I know that Wikitree has a resource section and I was wondering if I should add this document to that section?  The document is eight pages long and I feel many people could benefit from the research.

I can't remember when the resource section is and I thought the more people that can benefit from the money spent the better.

What I might do in the same situation is create a New Space under add new thing. What you could do is scan in clear to read Photos of the 8 pages and set the access open for anyone to read. However their may be some rules or guidelines that should be followed in this procedure you could always try contacting a mentor on the correct procedure.

Best of luck and Thank You

Steve,

I know there is a sources area in Wiki Tree and I was thinking this would be appropriate for that area.  The information is straight out of the George T Clark Book written in 1912.

I just thought that since It could be many years since I can get to the Morgan side of my husbands family that it would be great to share the information.

Thanks so much for your suggestion.

If this was published in 1912, it's now in the public domain.
Steven,

What exactly do you mean by scan in clear?

Then where are what is add new thing?

I have basically been inactive with Wikitree for 1 1/2 years though it seems like a life time when I try to do something!  It's like being brand new again! I can't remember who my mentor was then must be old age catching up with me!!!

@Taylor

A-lot of older documents depending if they where penned manually or typed may have difficult punctuation or words. So I suggest before you scan this information into your computer that the information is scanned in at high quality to get the best read
Steven,

The document is typed and easily read.  I have uploaded it into my computer as I sent it to my husband's cousins.  It is s single spaced document.  I will open the uploaded document and see how easy it is to read.  If the document is not easily read, I will double space it.

Thanks for the suggestion.
