Why do the DNA Connections fall off for this ancestor?

I just added a couple ancestors and then I ran in to ancestors who were already in WikiTree so I'm waiting to join the trusted list or for the managers to merge the profiles. In the meantime, one of the sons I added doesn't show the DNA connections. I am wondering how to get the DNA connections added?

Here is the profile: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Tinsley-912

His son, William Craig Tinsley, shows the DNA connections: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Tinsley-817

Thank you

If they've just been connected to your tree, then it takes a while for the indexes to be updated (up to 24 hours)

DNA connections are updated once a day, generally running overnight USA time.  You just created Abraham Tinsley's profile today, so the DNA won't propagate up until tomorrow.  Give it 24 hours and see what happens.

At that point, you may find that your DNA info does not show on the DNA connections for Abraham, but the other do.  This is because there is a limit of how far away autosomal DNA will appear - it's 8 degrees of connection.  I'm not precisely certain how it's counted, but you're going to be right on the edge; so you may or may not appear on Abraham's profile, but the other two connections listed on Abraham's son should also appear on Abraham.

Thank you, I thought there was a limit. But I saw there were DNA profiles connected to Peter Rucker and he was born in 1659.

I see that myself, my father, and grandmother have now shown up on Abraham's profile and that my father and grandmother only are showing up on Abraham's father's page.
