Found this but no documents yet. Seems a likely parent if you take into account the names of the men.
Benjamin Allison was born in 1773 in Wilkes, North Carolina, his father, Posey, was 34. He married Margaret Wood in 1793 in Burke, North Carolina. They had nine children in 21 years. He died in 1850 having lived a long life of 77 years.

Posey is mentioned by his brother Burch Allison in his (Burch) Rev. War pension application. 1783 Montgomery County, MD tax list has Posey Allison. in the Linganore and Sugar Loaf Hundred area 1838 member of Company E Burke County Volunteers in the North Carolina Volunteers Participating in the Indian Removal, April 7, 1838 Jan. 1828 was a member of a road crew from the fork at Davidsons Quarter to the top of the mountain in the Swanano Gap. Charles Co., MD land records L2:21, FHL microfilm 0,013,753. In 1722 Thomas ALLISON, [son of Charles] sold all right in the tract St. John to Francis POSEY. This tract had been owned by his maternal grandfather John POSEY, and the only right Thomas would have had would be by being the only child of his mother, either Mary or Elizabeth, daughters of John POSEY. b) See #14 the inventory of Thomas ALLENSON. The next of kin who approved the inventory were John POSEY and Benjamin POSEY.
