Elizabeth (Unknown) was the wife of Thomas Garnett-42, early immigrant to Virginia Colony.  There are various theories about what her maiden name might have been, but no actual evidence for any of them.

I thought I'd do a quick dig and I did come across a 40 year old Thomas Garnett in 1624 that seems to be married to a 20 year old Joyce Gyffith in Elizabeth City. I'm not sure if this is your guy, but here is a link to the records. http://files.usgwarchives.net/va/jamestown/census/jameship.txt

Thank you for your help.  Good catch.  I do think this is the same Thomas Garnett.

I'm not sure why USGenWebArchives have Thomas and Joyce listed as husband and wife (looks like an error ?).   We assume that Thomas was married to Elizabeth, because he and Elizabeth and Susan look like a family group. 

In the Muster of 1624, Hotten p 255 shows Thomas with Elizabeth (and Susan 3 yrs old), and also living in his household were: Ambrose Gryffith and Joyse Gryffith (see the Thomas Garnett profile).  Seems much more likely that Ambrose and Joyse were married to each other.
