William was listed as a laborer in Mary Kenny's household. She is unlikely to have been his mother but may have been related to his parents by marriage.  I think she may have been married to Samuel Kinney but need more information on her before I can determine whether there is a relationship.  There is another William Adams in Randolph County, son of Andrew and Elizabeth Adams.  Possibly these two are the same and just happened to be listed twice in the 1850 census?
