DEAR SIR, I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND OUT WHERE MY MOTHER WAS BORN HER NAME WAS GRACE MARGARET FARRELL I HAVE TRIED EVERY POSSIBLE WAY . SHE DIED IN LIVERPOOL U.K. IN 1943 SHE WAS ONLY 42 MARRIED MY DAD ALEXANDER HIGGINSON IN 1928 IN WEST DERBY SHE WAS IN ORMSKIRK LANCASHIRE IN 1922 BEFORE THAT YEAR I DON'T KNOW WHERE SHE CAME FROM IRELAND OR THE UK CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME . I AM 78 THIS YEAR AND LONGING TO FILL THIS GAP BEFORE I DIE.JOHN HIGGINSON

Hi John - to add to Tom's info here are the certificate details for your mum's marriage and death, there may be more clues to her origin or other relatives there.  I've checked the appropriate births in the England & Wales BMD and also the 1911 census but unfortuantely its inconclusive - there was a "Grace Ferrol" born in 1900 in West Derby, Lancashire AND ALSO a "Grace Farrell" born in Q1, 1902 in Holborn, London but whether one of these is your mother is not certain.
