I want to volunteer and get my tree started, but I think you have to approve me first, is this correct?

I am at a stand still.  I've started my tree on Ancestry.com, and also had my AnsectryDNA test done.  I am super confused about my Tague Teague linage.  My matches showed I was related to (4xgf) George Washington Tague, (5xgf) Robert Teague, and also Moses Teague lineage.  Some how these 2 lines are related but how?  Is Robert Teague's father John Teague, son of Rev. Edward Teague?  And if so, was John married a few times? And if not, which John Teague does my line stem from?  My line has been in America for a very long time (1600-1700).  My family swear the John that migrated to America came from Ireland, my research points to England.  Please help!

Hi Angelina. To answer your 1st question yes, a greeter would have to confirm you but before they can do that you would need to finish the process of filling out your tags and clicking on Volunteer button as explained in the initial email.

After you are confirmed we recommend you start out your tree by putting in your immediate family and work your way back.As you encounter some of the situations you explained above, then come back and ask a question stating where you are at and give the profile ID of a profile that is related to the situation. Just remember to take your time, go slow, and break down your brickwalls one by one. Hope that helps!
