Help, please undo the merge I just did John W. Gordon

I'm pretty sure I merged a Jr. and a Sr. and now there are the same people showing up as siblings AND children...*shaking head*

Merge reversed.

..uh, oh.  Not possible.  A merge is one of the things that can't be undone.  Something like un-breaking a window.  The merged-away profile will need to be re-created and the information separated out from the bad merge.

I clicked the line on the changes page that said restore on Senior and checked the junior already listed among children to see that info matched what was needed for the"merged away " junior. But since some of you think I can't do good work here on Wikitree, this will be the last time I do anything. I don't want to cause anyone trouble or inconvenience.

...it's OK Eddie you didn't know.  What happens is the data is reversed but one of the profiles is gone after a merge.  The 2 into 1 thing is what can't be restored, and that is why a new profile will need to be created.  It was a reasonable assumption on your part.  Please stick around a carry-on, your work is fine.
