Because so many people use them, it is important that structure of categories is discussed before major implementation and the Categorization Project helps facilitate that, as well as set up new categories, fix erroneous categories, and apply them. Not sure if I can help much with the project right now but I'd really like to see Australian localities added to Categories. Really only the six states needed: South Australia, Western Australia, Northern Territory, Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania.

I'm interesting in being a part of the Categorization Project. I have a special interest in establishing additional Volga German Colony categories as the need arises. I have made fine use of the [[Cateogy:Grimm]] tag, but have recently been working with Volga Germans from other colonies.

I am interested in different categories, ie. Crowan, Cornwall migration to Australia and the United States, I need to categorize some of my ancestors who were convicts that were transported to New South Wales, Australia as early as 1822.

Hi! I just checked "Wanted Categories" and found some located/related to Sweden. Checked with Lena Svensson, leader of Swedish Project (which I'm also a member of) on how to add parishes and will be starting adding categories for the wanted Swedish parishes that I can find in the list.

Will also make a list of the other requests of categories related to Sweden and check with Lena how to proceed. Will also contnue to keep an eye on the list and catch the Swedish ones.

Would these tasks be enough to be part of the Categorization project?

I've been working a lot in the Lambton County, Ontario area with my ancestors and the categories in this section seem like they need some TLC, as it's confusing and difficult to find the correct categories. Hopefully I can help in that area.
